Be sure to place Wednesday, Feb. 14, & Saturdays, Feb. 10 and Feb. 17 on your calendar!
Saturday, Feb. 10 at 6 pm the fellowship hall will be open to host a night of games and snacks. Bring one of each to share – show up around 6 pm for a fun-filled evening.
Saturday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 pm the church youth group will host its annual Valentine’s Banquet. This is one of the fundraisers the youth put on to raise money for their biannual youth group convention.
Also, don’t forget that our lenten season starts Wednesday, Feb. 14 with our Ash Wednesday service. A soup supper will be served from 5:30-6:30 pm, with the church service starting at 6:45 pm.
All events are open to the public, but the youth group would like you to RSVP so they can plan for food.

Come join us during the holidays!
Our Christmas Eve services Sunday, Dec. 24 are 9 am Sunday morning service, and also at 4 pm for our Christmas Eve service.
Sunday, Dec. 31 New Year’s Eve service will also be at 9 am.
There will be no Sunday School or coffee fellowship before or after either of these services.
Our regular Sunday schedule will resume Sunday, Jan. 7: Sunday School at 9 am, coffee fellowship at 10 am, and Sunday worship at 10:30 am.

The Association of Free Lutheran Congregations recently conducted its annual meeting June 13-16 at its headquarters in Plymouth, MN.

The conference June 12-15, 2018 will be in Dickinson, ND, and the theme is “That You May Know” 1 John 5:13.

As you are well aware, this November’s election will have far reaching implications for our nation and, in many ways, for all of us as individuals. The winner of this year’s election could conceivably appoint as many as three or more Supreme Court Justices. As we have seen these past few years, the President of the United States can have a substantial influence on our culture and on world affairs. Good Shepherd Free Lutheran Church Cokato will host Vacation Bible School Monday, July 21 through Thursday, July 21 from 6 pm to 8:40 pm at the church. VBS is open to all children ages 3 yrs old through the 7th grade.
This year’s theme is “Cave Quest: Following Jesus, the Light of the World.” The theme verse “O Lord, You alone are my hope” comes from Psalm 71:5 – For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my confidence from my youth.
